Is Online Notepad free?
Yes. No account, no ads. The only limit is 100 KB of text per note.
Who can read my notes?
A standard note can be read by anyone who has the link or code, so do not put secrets in it. With a password or the "private link" option, the text is encrypted in your browser before upload and nobody else can read it, not even us.
How do I open a note on my TV?
Type nopd.me and the 6-character code in the TV browser, for example nopd.me/k7q2m9. Or open nopd.me and enter the code in the box. If the note has a password, enter it afterwards.
How do I send text from my PC to my phone?
Create a link and scan the QR code with your phone camera. The note opens right away.
How long are notes stored?
You choose: 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days. Burn-after-reading notes are deleted the moment they are opened. Expired notes are erased automatically.
What if I lose the link?
Without the link or code nobody can find the note again. Encrypted notes cannot be recovered, not even by us.
